Christian Identity
Are we living as orphans or as adopted children? It's time to lay down our baggage, take our seat at the Father's table, and live from a place of approval rather than constantly seeking it. This shift in perspective can transform our relationship with God and how we view ourselves in His kingdom.

Day 1: From Orphan to Adopted
 Reading: Romans 8:14-17
Devotional: God's love for us is so profound that He adopts us as His children. Reflect on what it means to be a child of God, not an orphan. How does this change your perspective on your relationship with God? Today, consciously approach God as your loving Father, not as a taskmaster. Pray for His guidance in embracing your identity as His beloved child.

Day 2: The Father's Embrace
Reading: Luke 15:11-32
Devotional: The story of the prodigal son beautifully illustrates God's unconditional love. No matter how far we've strayed, our Father eagerly awaits our return. Consider areas in your life where you might be holding back from God due to shame or fear. Remember, He offers you a robe of righteousness, a ring of authority, and sandals of sonship. How can you fully accept His embrace today?
Day 3: Seated at the Father's Table
 Reading: 2 Samuel 9:1-13

 Devotional:
David's kindness to Mephibosheth mirrors God's grace towards us. Despite our brokenness, God invites us to His table. Reflect on the areas where you feel unworthy or inadequate. How does knowing you have a permanent place at God's table change your self-perception? Today, approach God with confidence, knowing you're fully accepted and loved.
Day 4: Living as God's Heir
Reading: Galatians 4:4-7

 Devotional: As
adopted children of God, we are also His heirs. This elevated status isn't earned but freely given through Christ. How does this inheritance change your outlook on life's challenges? Consider how you can live today with the confidence and purpose befitting an heir of God. Pray for wisdom to steward your spiritual inheritance well.
Day 5: Sharing in Christ's Sufferings and Glory
Reading: Romans 8:16-18

Devotional:
Our adoption into God's family doesn't exempt us from suffering, but it does promise us a share in Christ's glory. Reflect on current struggles in your life. How can viewing these challenges through the lens of your identity in Christ change your perspective? Today, choose to trust God's presence and purpose in your trials, looking forward to the glory that will be revealed.
